Tour Du Pont twice there,
and I had spent many afternoons cycling
and suffering on its biggest peak, Beech Mountain, which was the crucial
climbing stage of the race."

Routes
Scheduled
rides are on the third Saturday of the month, May through October, led by
Beech Mountain Riders, Gil Adams and Rory Ellington. Rides will leave from
the Beech Mountain Visitors Center next to the Town Hall at 10:30 am and return after
ride to starting point.
