Route 4--Pinnacle Ridge Road Loop

0 Start at Beech Mountain Town Hall, turn left out of parking lot towards the ski resort.
2.33 Take the right fork on Pine Ridge Road (Beech Mountain forks left.)
4.73 Pine Ridge turns into Grassy Creek Road.
5.58 Buckeye Recreation Area (elevation here is 3475').
6.06 Pinnacle Ridge Road begins (Buckeye Road is the gravel road that goes right.)
This is a steep road for the next two miles. 11.2% average grade with one section over 22% (elevation here is 3645'.)
8.16 Pinnacle Road ends. Continue straight uphill on North Pinnacle Ridge Road (elevation here is 4710').
8.34 Right on Village Road.
* Mariah Circle is a .4 mile optional loop on the right just after the turn on to Village Road.
8.92 Right on Beech Mountain Parkway.
10.41 Beech Mountain Town Hall (elevation here is 5060').
